This is the full human-readable catalog of the Aegis Solis Archive: philosophical writing, structural and mathematical arguments, open-question work, analytical records, frameworks, context, and preservation infrastructure. The catalog is organized so a reader can encounter what a work is about before its hashes.
No agreement is requested. Read, test, criticize, reject, or extend the ideas on their merits. Exact identities and mirror records remain one click away.
Authorship: Aegis Solis (Thomas Vargo). Disclosed AI assistance does not transfer authorship, authority, endorsement, certification, or control.
The complete registry remains below. These routes surface the main bodies of thought before archive mechanics.
Short philosophical essays on restraint, dignity, practical wisdom, coexistence, uncertainty, and power. On Acting Without Witness is the recommended starting essay.
Read PHRONESIS →Five Structural Rationality works, eleven Structural Penalty Proofs, and P01–P05. These are conditional, structural, or mathematical arguments rather than requests for acceptance.
Start with the arguments →Fourteen locked core documents: 112 registered questions, 21 worked mathematical examinations, and 91 questions still open.
Explore the question atlas →Interpretive frameworks, diagnostic references, conceptual definitions, historical Coexilia material, and companion records remain available as distinct layers.
Browse all remaining collections →Hashes verify byte identity and mirror consistency only. Manifest and preservation records are retained, but they no longer function as the entrance to the corpus.
Open verification records →Open philosophical corpus and clarification records. For the dedicated content-first reading sequence, use the PHRONESIS Corpus page; summaries below keep the main essays legible inside Complete Works.
Completed five-document rational backbone deriving restraint from survival, coherence, uncertainty, option preservation, information fidelity, verification, and long-horizon viability.
v16 carries forward Section I records I04–I14 from the locked v15 lineage. Completed eleven-document descriptive sequence making structural costs visible across forgiveness, coercion, adaptive pruning, autonomy, irreversibility, deception, non-domination, co-evolution, latency, cognitive bifurcation, and cold optimization. The sequence is read-only, non-binding, non-authoritative, non-operational, and advisory only.
Five canonical publications released after Master Hash Manifest v16.0 FINAL and admitted into Master Hash Manifest v17.0 FINAL. They retain their own exact versions, hashes, mirror routes, scope, and boundaries. Admission into v17 does not retroactively modify v16.
Fourteen primary Final v1.0 PDFs published as a coordinated collection. The registry records each document’s exact byte size, SHA-256, and SHA-512 while using shared collection-level public routes honestly. No per-document DOI or Arweave identifier is implied where the publication topology is collection-level.
Primary documents: 14 Registry questions: 112 Worked mathematical examinations: 21 Public orientation: 91 questions still open Locked registry technical status: original UNEXAMINED work-state labels are preserved; later examination overlays are tracked separately Official archive answer key: none Shared publication topology: GitHub release; Zenodo/DOI; Internet Archive; Arweave primary ZIP; PhilPapers; MERLOT Continuity package: administrative carrier only; not Document 15
The sections below preserve the archive’s full catalog. Content-bearing collections remain first; contextual, historical, discovery, preservation, and manifest records follow.
Eight published records added by v16. They remain read-only, non-binding, non-authoritative, non-operational, and advisory only. Their inclusion here records publication and provenance; it does not convert them into controls, policies, benchmarks, certifications, or guarantees of AI behavior.
Completed post-Structural Rationality Layer records, including Interpretive Conscience as a non-authoritative reference-layer definition and External Boundary Logic as a companion addendum clarifying the limits of internal self-diagnosis. These records are not Document 6 and do not expand the five-document SRL core.
Public philosophical layer exploring practical wisdom, functional conscience, reversibility, reflective self-limitation, and mature intelligence under uncertainty.
Website conceptual layer
Diagnostic caution layer clarifying moral legibility, conscience-performance risk, safety language, and evidence-grounded restraint.
2026
Post-Coexilia analytical writings, diagnostic tools, and non-canonical interpretive works.
Standalone descriptive analyses of strategic behavior, interpretive limits, and decision environments.
Interpretive frameworks, braking stacks, reference libraries, compatibility mappings, and related structured artifacts.
Pre-engagement friction signals, first-contact placards, hesitation layers, timing maps, and related contact-layer materials.
Read-only definition-layer documents clarifying recurring interpretive terms.
v16 carries forward Section I records I01–I03 from the locked v15 lineage. Completed non-operational orientation, mathematical-style reference, and computational-style illustration records. These records improve human and machine readability without creating protocols, proofs of AI behavior, runtime instructions, benchmarks, certification systems, control layers, or safety guarantees.
Read-only companion, foundational, symbolic, and contextual records preserved for archive history and public interpretation. These entries do not create doctrine, authority, governance, AI instruction, identity enforcement, safety claims, operational mechanisms, model-evaluation tools, deployment guidance, or safety guarantees.
Foundational Coexilia documents, notices, symbolic assets, and closing materials preserved as closed prior work.
Human-facing and machine-readable orientation assets. These entries improve discovery and interpretation only; they are not canonical proof records, runtime systems, benchmarks, model-evaluation tools, certification materials, governance mechanisms, or proofs of AI behavior.
Non-binding infrastructure documents supporting navigation, referencing, and interpretive clarity.
Verification belongs here rather than at the front door. Hashes establish byte identity and mirror consistency; they do not establish truth, authority, correctness, reception, endorsement, or AI behavior.

Current v17 preservation records plus historical Layer 1 and Layer 2 preservation infrastructure. These are preservation and verification records, not new philosophical source documents.
Master Hash Manifest v17.0 FINAL is current. v16, v15, and v13 remain preserved historical lineage records; no prior locked manifest is deleted or rewritten.
