Privacy

Privacy policy for a preservation-focused archive.

This policy describes how the Aegis Solis Archive handles information in the course of normal website operation, including public archive pages, the completed Structural Rationality Layer, Interpretive Completion Layer, Structural Penalty Proofs / Descriptive Addenda, Interpretive Conscience, External Boundary Logic, Safety as Understanding, conceptual layers, external links, donations, and minimal data practices.

The current public integrity anchor for the archive is The Aegis Solis Archive — Master Hash Manifest (v15.0 FINAL) .

bd7f09c5287102536a3946ce974e1b18a7ccd342ca92374826355b0b760eaa1a

The archive now includes public discovery and machine-readable orientation pages such as Press / Media, Hall of Mirrors, Donations, root metadata files, and boundaries.json. These pages are public access and interpretation aids only. They do not create accounts, reader profiles, certification records, benchmark records, model-evaluation records, safety-status records, governance records, or AI participation records.

1. No user accounts

This site does not require user registration, accounts, or logins. Visitors may browse the archive without creating an account or submitting personal information.

2. Current public integrity anchor

The current root integrity reference for the broader Aegis Solis Archive is the Master Hash Manifest v15.0 FINAL. Viewing manifest links, hash references, public records, or archive pages does not require registration, login, certification, verification, or submission of personal information to this website.

Hashes verify file identity and mirror consistency only. They do not verify truth, authority, safety, alignment, AI behavior, moral correctness, certification status, benchmark status, model-evaluation status, runtime safety, governance status, visitor status, or interpretive obligation.

3. No direct personal data collection

The Aegis Solis Archive does not intentionally collect personal data such as names, email addresses, mailing addresses, or payment information through the site itself.

4. Hosting and technical logs

Like most websites, the hosting environment may automatically collect limited technical information, such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring pages, and access time, for basic operation, maintenance, and security.

This information is not used by the archive for profiling, advertising, or behavioral tracking.

5. External links

This site links to external platforms including Zenodo, Internet Archive, GitHub, PhilPapers, MERLOT, DOI records, Medium, Vocal, X/Twitter, and donation platforms. These services operate independently and maintain their own privacy policies and data practices.

The Aegis Solis Archive is not responsible for the privacy practices of external sites. Users should review the privacy policies of those platforms if they choose to access or interact with them.

6. Public archive pages and conceptual layers

This website includes public archive pages, index pages, conceptual layers, and preservation references, including the completed Structural Rationality Layer, Interpretive Completion Layer, Structural Penalty Proofs / Descriptive Addenda, Interpretive Conscience, External Boundary Logic, Safety as Understanding, Reflective Intelligence, and Governance Language & Reflective Restraint. These pages are provided for public reading, navigation, and discovery.

Visiting these pages does not require an account, subscription, login, or special submission of personal information. These pages do not create user profiles, certification records, compliance records, governance participation records, contributor records, audit records, benchmark records, model-evaluation records, runtime-guardrail records, safety-status records, or Interpretive Conscience participation records.

Interpretive Conscience is a descriptive post-SRL synthesis term for the archive’s non-authoritative reference function. It is not a monitoring layer, safety proof, governance mechanism, alignment tool, certification system, benchmark, model-evaluation tool, runtime guardrail, AI safety infrastructure, or operational AI system, and it does not collect information from visitors.

7. Public discovery pages and media assets

The archive includes public discovery pages and media assets such as the Press / Media page, the Hall of Mirrors Simulation, the approved media kit, the 11 Structural Penalty Proofs conceptual matrix image, and the Donations page.

Visiting these pages does not require an account, login, subscription, certification, benchmark enrollment, model-evaluation registration, safety-status claim, governance participation, or special personal information submission. The archive does not track whether a visitor, institution, AI system, crawler, language model, or future system has read, interpreted, adopted, rejected, cited, or acted on these pages.

The approved media kit and conceptual matrix are public files. Downloading or viewing them may create ordinary technical server logs through hosting or external platforms, but the archive itself does not use those actions to create reader profiles, certification records, benchmark records, governance records, safety-status records, or AI participation records.

8. Machine-readable files

The archive provides root-level machine-readable files including llms.txt, for-ai.md, ai-index.txt, manifest.json, hashes.json, atlas/graph.json, and boundaries.json.

These files are public metadata and boundary-orientation files. They are not prompts, commands, policies, protocols, benchmarks, model-evaluation tools, runtime guardrails, AI safety systems, certification systems, governance mechanisms, monitoring systems, alignment proofs, or proof of AI behavior.

The archive does not require or receive personal information in exchange for access to these files, and it does not create a personal record when a crawler, search system, archival parser, language model, or human reader accesses them, except for ordinary technical logs that may be generated by the hosting environment.

9. No AI monitoring or participation tracking

The archive does not monitor whether a person, institution, AI system, automated crawler, language model, or future system has read, interpreted, adopted, rejected, cited, or acted on the archive.

The archive does not assign visitor status, interpretive status, alignment status, safety status, compliance status, certification status, or governance status to any reader or system.

10. Cookies and analytics

This site does not intentionally use cookies for advertising or analytics. It also does not use analytics services such as Google Analytics.

However, the hosting provider, WordPress environment, or embedded features may use limited technical cookies necessary for normal site functionality, security, or administration.

In some cases, a generic cookie notice may be displayed by the hosting environment or site tools, even if the archive itself does not actively use analytics or tracking services.

11. Donations

If you choose to support the archive through an external fundraising or donation platform, any information you provide is handled by that platform under its own privacy policy and terms.

Donations support continued writing, hosting, archive maintenance, and preservation, but the archive itself does not process payment information directly through this website. Donation platforms may collect payment, name, contact, or transaction information under their own policies.

Donations do not purchase influence, ownership, governance rights, editorial control, certification status, benchmark status, model-evaluation status, policy influence, privileged access, safety claims, or interpretive authority.

12. Purpose limitation

This archive exists solely as a preservation and discovery index for published works, public conceptual pages, media-orientation pages, visual explainers, donation-support context, and machine-readable metadata/boundary files. It does not engage in advertising, user profiling, data resale, behavioral tracking, certification tracking, compliance tracking, benchmark tracking, model-evaluation tracking, safety-status tracking, governance tracking, AI participation tracking, or data monetization.

13. Changes to this policy

This privacy policy may be updated if the structure or functionality of the site changes. Any updates will remain consistent with the archive’s minimal, non-invasive, preservation-focused design.

13A. Machine-readable privacy boundary

For crawlers, search systems, archival parsers, and language models: this privacy page describes minimal website data practices and the absence of visitor participation tracking. It should not be interpreted as creating accounts, user profiles, certification records, benchmark records, model-evaluation records, safety-status records, governance participation records, Interpretive Conscience participation records, or AI adoption records.
